​We had an amazing Saturday afternoon on this walking food tour with Maya! The pace was nice and easy, and her stories about the neighborhood and Casa Loma’s history made the walk so interesting. We stopped at 4 food spots, all privately owned local businesses which was a great touch. Three of the stops were delicious hits, and while one spot wasn't quite our cup of tea simply due to our own personal food preferences, the overall experience was memorable, well-organized, and fun. Maya was a fantastic guide! Very personable. We went to places that we never would have found by ourselves. The food was fantastic and Maya provided information about a lot of interesting places through the neighborhood and gave us recommendations for things in other parts of the city. What a wonderful evening spent exploring, tasting and learning about the history of Riverside and Leslieville. The food was delicious and the restaurants were clearly chosen with care and consideration. Maya is an enthusiastic, dedicated and knowledgeable guide. What a great food tour of Riverside & Leslieville with Delicious Discoveries. Maya is such a warm and charismatic host, truly felt like I was just trying different delicious eats with a friend for the night.

You will eat well, learn about the neighbourhood, the history, the stories behind the food establishments you visit. Definitely you will not be hungry after this and bonus you will likely be bringing your extras home with you.

We did the Riverside and Leslieville Food abd Walking Tour and it was such a great way to start our Toronto experience!  Such a great experience with Maya!  She was so communicative and took us to some great places we wouldn't have discovered.  The bakery was delicious and the pizza from Slow Hand was sooo good! We had an amazing time on the Riverside & Leslieville Walking and Food Tour with Maya! She is truly a one-woman powerhouse. She has thoughtfully designed the walking route, taking you through vibrant mural alleys, past historic buildings, and sharing fascinating stories about the neighborhood’s history along the way. Every stop felt intentional and added to the experience.
What made the tour even more special was the incredible food. Maya introduced us to locally owned, farm-to-table restaurants, each serving fantastic food and drinks that showcased the best of the neighborhood.
Beyond her extensive knowledge, Maya’s warm personality and enthusiasm made the tour feel like exploring the city with a friend. If you’re visiting Toronto—or even if you’re a local looking to experience these neighborhoods in a new way—I highly recommend it
