All regularly scheduled group tour sales are final; however, with the purchase of Experience Cancellation Insurance, you may cancel a regularly scheduled group tour for ANY reason and receive a full refund or reschedule to another date. Cancellation requests must be emailed to hello@deliciousdiscoveries.ca at least three hours before the tour start time to be valid (no exceptions).

This insurance is recommended to protect your experience and provide you with flexibility. Cancellation requests must be emailed to hello@deliciousdiscoveries.ca at least three hours before the tour start time to be valid. There are no exceptions to this policy. Note that direct messages on Instagram or other platforms will not be accepted.

If the minimum number of participants for your experience (as noted on the registration page) is not met, Delicious Discoveries reserves the right to cancel an experience up to 24 hours in advance. In this case, you will be notified by email and may choose to reschedule or request a full refund.

Regularly scheduled group tours have pre-selected menus. Vegetarians (dairy and eggs ok) can be accommodated as long as this is indicated when you register. Vegans can be accommodated in many cases, but it cannot be guaranteed. At this time we unfortunately cannot accommodate gluten-free diets. Yes! But, please be sure to indicate your allergy and its severity on the registration form. No same-day accommodations can be made. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the complete absence of any allergens in the kitchens where the food is prepared.

You’ll get architectural commentary, historical facts, local culture, and delicious tastings all wrapped up in one great experience. We walk through unique neighbourhoods, taste various foods, and learn about the neighbourhood from the locals.

Our experiences are designed for your maximum enjoyment and comfort. There are plenty of bathroom breaks available throughout the routes.

Delicious Discoveries operates in all weather conditions (rain, shine, snow, or anything else nature throws at us!), and tours will proceed as booked. It is recommended you review the local weather to ensure you will be dressed appropriately.

 Currently we offer our tours in English – and partial French 🙂

You are welcome to bring infants in strollers who will not be participating in the food portion of the experience, but please note that you may need to leave the stroller outside some of our stops due to space limitations.

The current routes of the St. Clair West & Casa Loma and the Riverside & Leslieville Food and Walking Experiences are wheelchair accessible. However, please be aware that the smoothness of sidewalks and roads may vary due to city construction and repairs. If you require accessibility assistance, contact hello@deliciousdiscoveries.ca before booking to ensure we can accommodate your needs.

Gratuities/tips at the vendors and restaurants we visit are covered in the cost of your experience.

Gratuities/tips for your Delicious Discoveries guide are never expected but are always welcomed as a way to show you enjoyed your experience. The standard tip in the service industry in Canada is 15% to 20%. Tips can be provided to your guide in cash after your experience, or sent by credit card here.

Yes, our starting locations are all accessible by public transportation. Once you’ve made your booking, your confirmation email will provide you with the tour starting location which you can use to map out the best route.

You can purchase gift vouchers for Delicious Discoveries HERE. You can select the experience you wish to gift and will be asked to indicate how many people the voucher is for. Vouchers cannot be split over multiple bookings and must apply to the same tour. Please purchase individual vouchers if you would like your recipients to be able to book separate tours.
